Hidden Café/Eco farm

Very great cafe and the owner is just wonderful. The views are amazing and very out of the way from the touristy stuff. Just amazing.

What a lovely chat I just had with Vien at the hidden cafe. We spoke mostly via translate but he couldn't have been more warm and welcoming, and the coffee was delicious! I can't wait to come back to see the finished renovations!

Here, you meet someone who truly loves what he does, who persists in his dream, and who welcomes visitors from all over the world with warmth and joy. Despite the language barrier, our conversations through Google Translate were filled with laughter, stories, and unforgettable moments. His passion for this place and his strength as a widower make every encounter even more special. Every joke, every laugh, and even those little tears will remain unforgettable. I hope to come back someday… this time with my husband! Hahaha!

Vinh, the owner of this cafe, built the entire place 12 years ago. He welcomed us warmly with his smile and brought us snacks to go with our coffee. He sat with us and shared pictures of his family and his history. Even though we couldn’t speak Vietnamese, he spoke to us using Google translate. He was genuinely kind to us and wanted to connect with us. There is no menu, just order coffee and pay what you wish. Please visit Vinh and hear his story. He will lift your spirits up with his warm smile and presence :)

One of my most favorite experiences in Vietnam. A must do to get out of the touristy areas. Vien (the owner) sat with us and told us stories. We communicated via google translate. Great coffee, great tea, and some snacks as well. Views are incredibly peaceful.

If you are in Hoi An then I highly recommend you take a bike and make your way here. Vien the owner is a lovely man who is genuinely interested in getting to know the people who visit his cafe. The coffee is really, really good (and very strong!) and the cafe itself is beautiful, so calm and set among the rice paddies, with butterflies flying around and birdsong. If you’re looking for a break from the crowds of old town Hoi An and want to see some of the countryside and quiet village life, then spend half a day cycling around here and visit Vien’s cafe - it’s been one of the nicest experiences of our trip.

I've come across the cafe randomly on a long bicycle trip in the countryside. What a gem! The friendly gentleman running this place made it a special experience. We were talking for an hour using google translate and his hospitality is endless. I even got some tangerines to refresh, the coffee was delicious and got a few more glasses of a ginger tea too.
